Role: Visual Design, Typographic Design
As part of Proletariat Inc.’s Creative Services team, I’ve worked as a marketing artist on a range of B2B and B2C marketing projects for the studio’s innovative cross-platform spellcasting game, Spellbreak. In collaboration with my team’s Creative Services lead and 2D Illustrator for Chapter 3: The Warden’s key art, I created the concept and executed the design of the accompanying chapter title.
Concept, Design, Rendering
After my initial ideation and sketching, I finalized the typographic design and imported the vector artwork into Adobe After Effects for material and light rendering. I utilized this method to benefit from its procedural workflow—allowing for faster design iteration and implementation for motion graphics applications. The final result combines 3D lights, glows, and turbulent displacement masks to non-destructively create a look with holographic/portal motifs—themes present in Chapter 3: The Wardens.
